Pitkin Mesa Gardens was founded in 1998 by Marianna Aley, our President, after years spent gardening in Aspen. That experience shaped a distinctive eye for color and design, backed by more than 40 years of horticultural expertise.

Her son, Forrest, grew up in the business and brings a lifetime of plant knowledge to every project. Forrest's wife, Maggie, joined the company six years ago and has quickly become an integral part of our family operation, learning directly from Marianna's decades of experience. Together, we've had the privilege of growing this business while breathing new life into a tried-and-true tradition. For many years, we've been known for growing some of the finest flowers for the Aspen and Telluride communities.
